Rev. Dr. Terence (Terry) Ellen

Rev. Dr. Terence Ellen has been a Unitarian Universalist minister for thirty-three years in Massachusetts,

New Jersey, and Maryland.  He is currently a consulting minister in Cumberland, Maryland as well as Fallston and was recently Executive Director of  UUs for Social Justice in the National Capital Region

 

Reverend Ellen has a BA from Amherst College,  a Masters of Divinity from  Union Theological

Seminary and Doctorate of Ministry from Andover Newton Theological School.

 

He has served his Parish Ministry at the First Universalist Society of Wakefield , MA; The Unitarian Society of

Ridgewood NJ; and  as Interim Associate Ministerat Cedar Lane UU Church in Bethesda, MD

 

Reverend Ellen is passionate about social justice issues including global warming, affordable housing, health

care for all, marriage equality for same-sex couples, multicultural and anti-racist initiatives, and opposition to the

use of torture.

 

Reverend Ellen lives in Pikesville, MD with his wife, Amy.

Ministers Emeritus

The Reverends Robert J. Lewis and Sylvia J. Lewis served our congregation for six years. In recognition of

their unwavering support of our congregation they were appointed Ministers Emeritus in June 2004 with the

 utmost respect and affection.
